Description:I have a TWH, was told he was nine when I bought him. According to vets, farriers, and trainers he is somewhere between 8 and 12. I do not believe he is gaited. He has a nice stride walk, and is smooth as a cadillac. He has never bucked, kicked, reared, bolted, bitten, etc... for me. He does not like to stop or stand still though. He likes to go, does not care what speed he goes in just as long as he is going. We hadn't ridden him in almost a year and got him out last week. We lunged him and he did fine at w/t/c. We then rode him. At first he appeared a little shaky, excited, but did awesome. He likes to be ridden and is one of those horse that needs to be ridden a couple of times a week. I can't do that. I would recommend an intermediate rider. Not because he is bad, just because he likes to go. He doesn't take off or anything like that unless you ask him too. If you do, he does gooooo! When I bought him, I was told he had been ridden down major highways and all over the place. I believe her. I have never seen him spook. I was also told she rode him bareback all the time, but I haven't tried it. I was also given his bit and Bridle. My vet said he had scars in his mouth where someone went beyond the line when they were keeping contact with his mouth. Doesn't interfere in his eating, but she said it may have caused him to have a hard mouth. I don't know. He turns fine and responds well to the bit. But, like I said he really doesn't like to stop. He likes to go. He can get a little pushy on the ground sometimes, I just either shake the lead, or put my hand up and make him back up a few paces. Then he is fine. He just gets happy and wants to go, and sometimes I am slower than him. He likes to be groomed and likes attention. At first, he seemed aloof to me but after a day or so he was puppy dogging me all over the place. He likes people and is nosey. Easy keeper and easy to catch. Feet trimmed every six weeks on the dot. He is UTD on his shots and I will have a Coggins pulled before he leaves.

Date Of Birth: 2003 Color: Bay Sex: Gelding
Location: Ocala, FL Asking Price: $500
Description: We bought him for my son and my son is just too timid of a rider for him. I think he'd be okay with a beginner as long as they had a few lessons under their belt and started riding him supervised by a knowledgeable rider. He is a nice pony, but when my son wants him to go left, and the pony wants to go right. My son won't give a little tug and squeeze with the opposite leg. He is afraid of hurting him :) I was told he drives and was given the cart/sulky thing and his harness when I purchased him. I don't drive though so I have never hooked him up. Shots are utd and Coggins. He is about six, and a bay. Easy keeper, very stout. We did have a problem with his stifle locking not long after he first came here. Previous owners used to trailer him everywhere and ride him for hours on the weekends. We didn't work him so, his stifle started locking. Our vet looked at him and advised we exercise him more. Which is one of the reasons he is up for sale. I like him and he could stay forever here but it is better for him to be being ridden or driven and receive more attention. He is great with kids. They can catch him, he walks right up to them. Sometimes he is a bugger to me. :) He is very showy, and very pretty. He is the boss in my pastures. He is gelded as well. He comes with a cart/sulky thing and a nylon harness.
